Date style

All the references use MM.DD.YYYY - which is only correct for some places in the world. Can we please stick to an international DD.MM.YYYY? If no one objects, I'll go through the existing ones and fix. --Jaywink (talk) 06:16, 4 June 2014 (UTC)
